Download Information

PrimeCharts supplies all the needed software for a fully automated download of the daily data into your Market Master program. Just a simple click of a button, and the needed data for the stock exchanges you want is automatically downloaded (via the Internet) and your database is updated. You do not need to go to any web sites and select any files etc. – everything is done for you.

~ Downloads
Our daily download for each exchange provides Open, High, Low, Close (or last trade) and Volume traded for all items mentioned in our data history section.  We also download daily dividend and earnings yields and PE ratios for all equities. We also provide the number of deals or transactions for equities.
Some data types are not applicable to certain download items (i.e. there is no volume with forex data, no dividend/earnings yields/PE ratios on Metal prices, etc.) and certain items may not be available from our sources.

Our downloads are made available to our clients as soon as possible after the market closes and the data is sent to us by the exchange.  

 ~ More than one download per exchange
Where data for a specific download comes from sources other than the stock exchange (e.g. Unit trust data in the JSX download) and that data is only available after the equity data is ready, we provide an early download (with correct equity data and as much non-equity data that is available) and then a later download (with all items up to date). We also ensure through our unique data maintenance system that with your next download any early data you downloaded that was not up to date is automatically retrospectively corrected for you. 

This system ensures that users get the bulk of their data as soon as it’s ready and yet still have correct data for those other items.

 ~ Market Report
Each download includes a daily market report of exchange and company specific information that investors/traders will find of interest. This is a service that is included at no additional cost with each days download.  

 ~ Sales Policy
In order to ensure that users get the best support possible, we require that users purchase their software and their data download service from the branch in the country that they live in (or the branch designated to service their country).  

Clients will only be eligible for support from the branch from which they have purchased their software. If a client emigrates from one country to another, he needs to obtain a data download from the branch in his new country. He will obtain any future program modules and/or refreshes from this branch.  

Where clients wish to obtain data for exchanges other than the primary exchange for the branch they deal with, they must obtain data for their local exchange before they can subscribe to other international exchanges.
